Tiznit is a privileged place of the beautiful region of Souss, where one breathes the serenity and the happiness of living. Tiznit is a town in southern Morocco and the capital of the province of Tiznit in the Souss-Massa region.
The population of the city, which was 80 000 inhabitants in 2014, is largely Berber. Tiznit is 15 km from the Atlantic Ocean, 81 km south of Agadir, 203 km south of Essaouira, 271 km southwest of Marrakech and 553 km south of Rabat.
The province is a must-see tourist destination at the gates of the desert and 90 km from Al-Massira international airport, with the beautiful Tiznit, Tafraut peaks, Tazekka rock carvings, oases and lush valleys, including Aït-Mansour, flowered plains, peaceful haven with sea views for Mirleft Caravaning fans and mountains.
